Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s First-Ever ‘WAP’ Performance

 Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion delivered their first-ever live performance of ‘WAP’ finally night’s 2021 Grammy Awards. Megan’s set began with a snippet of ‘Body’ before moving to ‘Savage’, which featured piped-in audio of Beyoncé’s vocals; Beyoncé herself didn’t join the stage, though she was present at the ceremony. Cardi then took it over with a performance of her latest single ‘Up’, before the 2 rappers joined forces to sing ‘WAP’ atop a large inflatable bed. Watch it happen below.

Megan Thee Stallion won Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song (for ‘Savage Remix’) last night. She was also up for Record of the Year, but lost to Billie Eilish, who said Meg deserved the award instead.

Since releasing her debut album excellent news last December, Megan featured on Ariana Grande’s ‘34+35 (Remix)’, teamed up with Bobby Sessions for the approaching 2 America track ‘I’m a King’, and dropped ‘Southside Forever Freestyle’. Earlier this month, she joined Maroon 5 on the new song ‘Beautiful Mistakes’. Meanwhile, Cardi recently became the primary female rapper to possess a licensed Diamond record, together with her breakout hit ‘Bodak Yellow’ having sold over 10 million copies.
